Mushi and blueberries
By KatieS » Posted Sep. 19, 2011 8:52pm - 242 views - 0 comments

Here I am hurtling into the middle of week 7 (is it even possible ist been 24 days since I found out was pregnant?)without a backward glance. Morning sickness hasn't quite hit me yet, but it is starting to rear its ugly head, and the toilet is my nocturnal friend as I stumble to it 2 to 3 times a night. My boobs don't even feel like they are apart of my body anymore, as they are starting to overflow my bra. Some tiny stranger the size of a blueberry is doing some crazy things to my body right now. We have decided to nickname are baby Mushi (Moo-shi) after an Japenese Anime called Mushi- shi. Why? Because Mushi are little spirits that cause crazy havoc to the material world and people. did you know a swamp Mushi can eventually turn someone into water? No? Well now you do. But that is what this little spirit is doing to me, causing crazy chaos. But I am loving every single minute and wouldn't change a thing. After you experience a loss you learn not to take things for granted. Just because your pregnant it doesn't garentee a healthy full term baby. The niave me did until we found out the hard way. Now I welcome every discomfort, every ache, every pain, as a sign of a healthy pregnancy. I wouldn't care if i threw up every day for the next three months if that meant I had a healthy pregnancy. Everyday I try and remember to count my blessings and to be thankful for what I have, and right now I am thankful to be a mommy :-)
