Check up Appointment with Fetal Medicine Consultant

Today we had our appointment, to double check the results of our 20 week Anatomy Scan last week. After having a look and double checking measurements, it was confirmed that our baby boy does in fact have unilateral talipes (Clubfoot), on his left foot. Luckily it's not as bad as we were first told. At the 20 week scan we were told his foot was backwards underneath his leg, but it was confirmed today his foot was just bent inwards. The consultant had proper look for any other signs of certain disorders but she couldn't find anything. Other than his left foot, Alfie is completely healthy! I feel so much more relaxed now.
The consultant showed us some photographs of babies feet with Clubfoot, through all the stages of treatment to completely healed at around a year old. There were dramatic improvements with each picture, from newborn to a year old, it was amazing to see.
We have an appointment with a paediatrician in July to discuss treatment and then we will see the orthopaedic surgeon once our son is born.
For now I'm trying to rest inbetween appointments. The last 2 weeks I have been sooo busy and so exhausted, I don't know if I'm coming or going lol
It's been hard with all the appointments to the hospital to do with Alfie's condition, plus physio every 2 weeks at the hospital I'm shattered by dinner time.
Anyway, apart from the exhaustion at 21 weeks I'm doing really well. Alfie spends most of the day kicking and punching away. I'm a lot bigger this week and feel like a whale lol I have even developed the pregnancy waddle early! My husband calls it the 'penquin walk' cheeky sod lol
I've been getting swollen fingers a lot recently, along with dizziness, headaches and a little blurry vision. Sometimes my eyes are blurry and other times it's like I've got loads of white dots floating around. Most of this happens when I'm sitting down. I've never had anything like this in my previous pregnancies. I have another appointment with my consultant next Thursday, so I will mention it then.
For now I'm just going to chill as much as I can and count down the weeks and days till little Alfie will be here!
