23 Weeks :)

Today I turn 23 weeks! So exciting! I can't believe I have 17 weeks to go. The end is still forever away but I'm getting there.
We have already bought our pushchair for Alfie. It's a really nice 3 wheeler pushchair that converts into a pram for the early days. Only downside is, is that I got it so early and we have hardly any space yet, the hubby won't let me set it up until nearer the time! Totally sucks :( We still have a lot to get, but I have ages to go yet before my due date. Plenty of time!
I need to go out and get more maternity clothes as I'm getting much bigger. I have plenty of stretch marks, prob lots left over previous baby's, just stretched out even more lol
I've been getting a lot of headaches still, the warmer weather hasn't helped at all.
I get swollen fingers and ankles but mainly in the morning and evening. My youngest says I have sausage fingers lol
Alfie kicks everyday, mainly morning and evening. He seems to sleep during the day.
I had a craving for Steak that lasted about 6 weeks! It was soooo nice, I would be really upset if I couldn't have it lol I recently got sick if it! To be honest, I think I ate too much lol Now my cravings are back to Greek yoghurt with honey, Doritos & Salsa dip and a bit of Cookie Dough Ice Cream every now and then ;)
I've finally put on a bit of weight, after fluctuating for a while. I am now 77.4kg, which means I've put on 4.4kg in the past 3 weeks!
I have a big bump now, which has been getting more difficult as it grows. The more Alfie is growing and getting bigger, the more he is putting pressure on my pelvic bone. My physiotherapist has now advised me to wear a maternity support belt, specifically for SPD. I have to wear that at home and out, plus I now have crutches to walk with to take the pressure and pain away while walking out and about.
This pregnancy has been soo difficult and painful. As well as the pain in my pelvic/pubic area caused by the SPD, I also have a curve in my spine!
I'm finding it very hard to keep active and mobile, I end up in so much agony by evening time.
Luckily the SPD is only a 'pregnancy thing' and will get better and go away once Alfie comes. I still have to deal with a curve in my spine thou.
I have started to feel low because of all of this. It's been difficult seeing other pregnant women around with their bumps walking or waddling happily, while I'm struggling to walk properly and am on crutches! I feel like a right idiot and a little embarrassed.
I'm just looking forward to the day out little boy arrives in September. That's what I should be happy about. Sod all this bloody pain, it will all be worth it in the end!
