My new dr is so much better than what I was putting up with. Booked me for another ultrasound just so I can relax about the cysts and baby size. Also has decided if I dont show signs of thinning at 37 weeks she will treat me like baby is too big. I'd rather be induced than have another giant baby at 40 weeks. Getting tested for being anemic freaking finally and got a med for heartburn. She confirmed I am having contractions. She said they arnt braxton hicks since my whole stomach is affected but since its random and doesn't hurt not to worry. Go back in two weeks for blood work results. Cant wait until the 25 for my next ultrasound.

Yay for a new doc! You should definitley feel comfortable with the person that is supposed to be looking after the health of you and your baby.

From what I've been told the difference is a brxton hicks contraction can make your stomach go hard but you dont really notice a pain or discomfortbut with a contraction you will. So since I feel uuncomfortable during it and my whole stomach feels like a rock she said its a contraction.

This makes me a little concerned because I was told by multiple people, nurses included, that braxton hicks can make your whole belly contract. I was having super painful contractions but they tapered off and were done completely in an hour so I never bothered going in to get checked.

On another note, that's awesome that you got a new doctor! =) No point in dealing with someone who doesn't take you seriously or doesn't listen. It's so much more comforting when they take the time to listen to your concerns and actually run some tests once in a while! =)
