38 weeks and the Braxton-Hicks have started to get painful... the end is near!

Two weeks ago I was dilated to 1 and had not been having any (noticeable) Braxton-Hicks. About two days ago I started feeling some contractions, but they weren't painful or uncomfortable. They are not at all frequent. Yesterday, the random contractions that I felt were strong enough to cause quite a bit of discomfort. Yay! I'm so excited to meet my baby daughter and hold her in my arms. I know it could still be two or three weeks but my gut feeling is that it will be sometime around the 20th. It's just nice to feel things progressing. Hopefully she will pick the 20th because that is the day hubs and I are hoping for.
