Made my first prenatal appointment

Boy that was fun. The nurse asked what my LMP was. I should have lied. I told her January 4th. She was like "Sooo...you're 6 weeks?" I told her no, I'm 4 weeks as of today. "But you've missed your period February 4th?" No, I ovulated around that time. I explained that I had long cycles due to breastfeeding.
First appointment: March 6, 2014 @10:15am
So far my only symptoms have been tiredness and minor morning sickness. And a little cramping. I know since this is my 5th kid, cramps are probably going to be worse. (My doc loves to tell me this with each pregnancy haha)

Then they told me my uterus was big for that gestation, so they sent me for an ultrasound (That I had to call and bug for a quicker date for). Come to find out there are two, not one! They send multiples to a different hospital- when I called the second hospital they almost bitched me out for waiting so long to get ahold of them...what else was I supposed to do?? UGH!! Congrats though! Super exciting to be expecting! Best of luck <3 |
