Yesterday I had my dating scan. This was also my screening scan to check for downs.
It was amazing, we last saw our baby nearly 5 weeks ago and it was a little tiny bean, not moving at all.
Yesterday, he/she wouldn't stop moving about and looked like they were waving to the camera, I can't believe what a difference a few weeks can make. Apparently the baby is also camera shy, taking after both it's parents! Although it did put on quite a show for us, at one point it looked like it was eating, it's mouth was going wild! I can't explain how I felt, I never thought I could be that happy looking at my baby on the screen. Counting the days now until the next scan, only 6 weeks and 6 days to go, then we will find out if it's a little boy or a little girl. We also announced the pregnancy on facebook last night, by uploading the scan pics, I think some people were surprised, but a lot of close friends and family knew about it! These last 13 weeks have gone by so quick, it won't be long until we get to meet the family member! xxxx
