First Positive HPT 30th April 2014

I recognised around 27th April it seemed a long time since my last period. I then started to feel like my period was going to arrive, heavy abdominal kind of feeling. When it didn't arrive that evening, I decided I would wait until weekend of 3/5/14 to do a HPT.
Wednesday 30th April arrived when Lee and I were having a conversation about when it would be out turn for a Positive result, how we didn't want to wait any longer, as I'm not getting any younger and how age can increase some risk factors.
It was late in the evening, Lee took Charlie out for his last walk that day. I decided I couldn't wait any longer, ran upstairs to take the HPT! Although I had a certain feeling I was pregnant, when 2 lines appeared, I was still shocked! Lee returned home, I heard the back door close. Hands shaking, I nervously replaced the cap on the HPT & took it downstairs to meet Lee to show & tell him our fantastic news!
Lee couldn't believe his eyes, we kissed & hugged congratulating ourselves.
