Worst day so far

Yesterday was by far my worst day so far. Iv been feeling the all day sickness, but was excited for my first doc visit. Well it didn't happen, I got there and they tell me my insurance will cover nothing, so they can't do the ultrasound in less I wanna pay 300! I was heart broken, they would not even listen with the Doppler...they gave me a paper and told me to apply for Medicaid, they there is a increase of thus due to insurance companies not offering maternity anymore.

So I left crying, but on a good not my doc did say he would accept the Medicaid, something he does not normally do. My husband was pissed that he missed work and that the doc did not even talk to me.

So I went to apply. All 3 kids, by myself, I had a headache, the kids were, well being kids, by time I got home I wanted to die. The bird would not shut up, the ferret got out and made a big mess in the garbage, the kids were getting louder and to top it off my worker kept haven to text me and alllllll I wanted to do was sleep.

I stayed in bed the rest of the day, my husband took care of kids once he got home and even cooked dinner. So glad today is a new day, hope it's a better one!

Even when your DH works for the State? Wow. Now that is real BS. My DH is a police officer and our benefits covered my Fertility Specialist and will be covering all of my prenatal care. I also found out they cover the cost of a breast pump towards the end of the pregnancy. Is it possible that he chose a lower stage of insurance? Either way, when you get Medicaid, the costs will still be less if nothing. Hang in there!

What's sad us my husband works for the state, and they won't cover maternity either, so both mine and his denied me, just a shock. Thanks for the pep talk, I sure hope everything with Medicaid goes smoothly, just hate I have to wait longer to even see or hear my baby's heart beat :(

I'm so sorry to hear that your day was horrible. OBAMA CARE SUCKS. The US is becoming less of "for the people" and more of "screw the people". It is not easy and I know you will get medicaid but the time lapse that you get it is ridiculous. You'll be hearing from the state in Month. Hoping things go smooth from here on out. Feel Good!
