My Baby GIRL!!!

So we all went in thismorning to have a gender ultrasound! I was so excited, I thought for sure I was going to get another boy, even though this pregnancy has truly been the opposite of my first (with my son)
There was no hiding, she's a girl!! I know it's still early, 15w 3d, and they tell you to wait to get girl stuff, but it was pretty obvious. Either way, I have my anatomy ultrasound July 8th, so it will be confirmed then.
She was SO active, it was hard for the tech to get a decent heartbeat recording, she kept kicking and rolling! I didn't care at all, it was great to see her! At one point she reached up and grabbed her nose! It was adorable!! Even my husband, who wasn't really dying to see her like I was, was still smiling huge and laughing at the little one!
My son was allowed to be there, he is 6, and he was hoping for a sister, so he got his wish! He loved seeing her too! He picked out the stuffed animal for the heartbeat, and he chose a pink bunny for her! How sweet!
As a real treat, and I was not expecting this, the tech turned on the 3D and got us a really good shot! We only paid for 2D, so I am very grateful!
Overall I had a great morning, and I suddenly feel like nothing could bring me down!

Still got my fingers crossed that we are having a boy this time! My SO has had a few dreams about this baby being a boy and I hope he's right. Then the poor guy won't be outnumbered anymore lol! |
