I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! My Dr has informed me that he would very much like to induce me on Nov 24, week 39. I have been in a lot of pain with my SPD, and we have been discussing post partum healing with it. If she is a large baby, I may not be able to walk at all after she is born, and I don't want that!
On top of that, I had severe preeclampsia with my first, so there is a very good chance I will have it again. With my first, I had to be medically induced at 36w6d, which saved my life! My son was 7 lbs and perfectly healthy. My Dr says he will check my cervix at 35 weeks, and if I am ripe and favorable, there is a good chance I will be induced again at 37 weeks, which would be Nov 10. If not, we will plan for 39 weeks.
Either way, I will have my baby girl by thanksgiving, and we are planning a quiet family meal of pizza and beer and movies, just Me, Hubby, and our children!
