SPD and burning cervix?
By Brandavir » Posted Oct. 5, 2015 8:53pm - 268 views - 2 comments
32 weeks tomorrow, just updating because a lot has changed in 2 weeks! Azeriana is head down, and my SPD has gotten much worse! I have a searing, burning, tearing feeling in my front pubic bone now, as well as shooting stabs down my inner thighs, and across my lap. I am officially using my cane daily and taking small steps, both which really help control the amount of pain I feel.
The cervical pain I have comes and goes, and really only started this last week. It is a burning and/or pinching feeling, and sometimes shoots up to my naval. I am praying that it is my cervix starting to efface! My Dr will be checking me starting in 2 weeks.
We have also been on the lookout for signs of preeclampsia, as I had it early with my first son, and it progressed aggressively. So far, so good, but I have noticed my face feels puffy at night these last couple days, so I will be mentioning this to my Dr at my next appointment.
Normal symptoms are heartburn, indigestion, constantly having to pee (with little coming out, usually) and back pain. Oh, to be done and over! Come on, little Ana, grow baby grow, so we can be done!

Comment from Cattsmeow » Posted Oct. 6, 2015 7:37am I hear you on the SPD! It's horrible. I managed to skip it with my oldest, it settled in around 34 weeks with my youngest, and then started around 19 weeks with this one. Fingers crossed you skip the pre-e this time around! Hang in there, almost to the finish line! |
