12 weeks today! Can I get an amen? So excited. Had my appointment today and all was well! Got to hear the heartbeat after the student doctor failed to find it at first. I was freaking inside a tad, but then doctor found my little ones sweet heartbeat after a 3 minute struggle. I was thinking I'm not going home until a) you find the heartbeat or b) you do an ultrasound so I can hear the heartbeat. Luckily I got to hear the sweet sound. I have gained nine pounds...ughhhh, not cool. My love of carbs is showing I suppose. I'm already overweight so I hope to not gain am excessive amount. Anyway, I'm a happy girl today weight gain or not! Cheers to cruising along :-)

I know how stressful that can be... my doctor took a while the 1st time but now she is a pro at finding my little squirm worm (he is always on the move). Congrats on 12 weeks... the 2nd trimester is SO much better than the 1st! |
