Pickles for dinner?
By motherbutler » Posted Oct. 23, 2011 5:38pm - 232 views - 1 comment

Well as of yesterday the morning sickness (what a joke! its all day sickness) went into full blast. No longer is it just nausea but vomiting too! I couldnt keep down tater tots and a slushy. Then this morning I couldnt keep down anything. So far today Ive had 2 pickles and 2 oatmeal raisin cookies and I actually feel ok despite the strange combination. I work tomorrow and Im dreading the morning. Its always worse then. The fatigue has lightened up slightly but I cant go 30 minutes without urinating and I cant even get near the dishes without feeling instantly sick. Its a very limited life. Im just going to hope these 2 days were a fluke and Ill go back to just being nauseous. Ugh. Its a lose lose situation. Come on 2nd trimester! I go wednesday (hopefully if my medicaid is active by then) and I pray that we get to see the heartbeat. I went to the hospital 2 weeks ago for some left side cramps and spotting during bowl movements and everything looked ok but it was too early to see the baby. All we saw was the yolk sac. Im hoping everything looks good at this visit. Im so scared because the last time I miscarried and we found out at my 10 week visit that the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks. Im just doing the best I can to be healthy. I would die if I lost a 3rd baby. I would feel even worse for my husband who has taken it even harder than me. Im just staying positive. At least the vomiting is a good sign....my breasts dont hurt like they did the first pregnancy. this time around my nipples are slightly sore not unbearable but they are more achy. its all so very annoying. its all part of the baby makin process.

It sucks, but you can tough it out! I had awful morning sickness from week 6 to 12 . . . it's like it magically disappeared when I hit trimester 2. Your baby's in there making a cozy nest and doing lots of growing. Stay strong and keep eating whatever weird foods you can keep down! I recommend blueberry muffins because they aren't too bad if they come back up!
