I was tracking my ovulation cycle on the sister site to this one. Of course my husband and I were trying for a girl and when we found out we are expecting our third boy I really wasn't that disappointed. don't get me wrong I'd love to one day have a little girl but after being diagnosed with PCOS any pregnancy is a gift from god and keeping that pregnancy is a even bigger gift. I know people who are skinnier then me and that have no other right problem known, yet still can't get pregnant. When I was trying for my first son I had to get fertility help. I just wasn't ovulating. With my second son it was a complete surprise. In Jan of 2015 we tried and I honestly thought it was too late that ovulation had come and gone but amazing enough 4 days later i ovulated and became pregnant.. i lost that pregnancy at almost 6 weeks. May we tried again and boom i got pregnant with my little boy. To see all these other people who so badly want to add to their families and not be able to makes me so sad but also SO thankful that I was able to get pregnant as quickly as I did. So when the nurse told me I was having a boy I was completely happy, why? well because of the reasons above and also because every baby no matter the gender should be celebrated. after all they are the ones who won the egg!
