called the doc's office back home today. i was worried that because of the previous losses, they would want me to go and get blood work done earlier than i could if i waited til i was back. but they seemed entirely unconcerned, which i guess i was expecting. it's not like they can do much of anything if this one isn't going to work out. just got to exercise and eat ok and just try not to stress too much. the rest is out of my hands.

so i've scheduled an appointment to confirm the pregnancy and ask some questions for jan 9th. seems like so long from now, but that's probably for the best anyway. i've got my appointment with the recurrent losses clinic the next day so hopefully they'll still do blood work and whatever else they can do with me in my 'condition'. ha, i love that term.

we've decided to tell the parents on new years day. i stopped in to the drugstore today and picked up little 'baby on board' signs that you'd stick to your car. i'm going to put that in with a picture of the digital pregnancy test, wrap it up, and pretend that we just found another small gift in our luggage as we were cleaning up. i think my fiance's parents will really like it, and hopefully my parents don't play dumb and make me spell it out to them (they have a tendency to play oblivious when they don't want to deal with something).

yay pregnancy!

that sounds like a lovely way of telling people! I am sure they are going to love it and that it all goes smoothly for you!
