5w6d - 15% - spotting

to say i was heartbroken last night was an understatement. around 11pm (after falling asleep on the couch, cause we all know i can't stay awake until 11), i had some pink/brown spotting when i wiped. it didn't seem to stop, but didn't get worse. so after freaking out, i finally fell asleep. it was still there this morning and has been there (though less) throughout the day. i haven't really started cramping more than what i've felt normally though and i haven't had any strong back aches. i saw the doc late this afternoon and went in for another beta. i might have another uti, which i hope hope hope is the only thing wrong.
this just seems so familiar, i hate it. it was 5w4d last time. spotting, then uti, then yeast infection, then miscarriage. i hate this. i hope so much that this is just superficially similar and that everything is ok, but it's hard to stay positive. now, all i can do is play the waiting game and tell my tummy that if the bean inside can stay strong, so can i.

 | Comment from elizabethwig » Posted Jan. 15, 2012 2:06am was gonna post again soon. things are ok, i think! the doc called this morning with my betas from friday and they had more than doubled from tuesday. based on the doubling calculator here, it's right on track and the levels are good. so i'm hopeful! spotting has slowed and basically stopped. not sure what caused it, but i hope it never comes back! thanks for asking. |
