Wow. So I've been peeing on sticks since 8dpo. I know...I know...TOO EARLY. I got a huge batch of the wondfo ovulation and HCG strips, so its not like I didn't have enough, they were pretty cheap, and I AM IMPATIENT!!!
8 dpo - no symptoms. Just anxious to pee on a stick. VERY VERY VERY faint shadow of a line. But something is there?
9 dpo, my boobs felt a little sore. HCG test getting darker. Went back on Mg at night because my sleep has SUCKED lately. VIVID dreams.
10 dpo, my boobs felt REAL sore. HCG test definitely a "faint positive". No squinting. GREAT sleep.
11 dpo, my boobs felt REAL sore and tingly. I'm getting hopeful! Only took one dose of my Chinese herbs, and stopped FertilAid (switched back to Goddess prenatals). Also some twinges/sharp stabbing pains that are different from my normal AF cramps. HCG test getting darker (took one in the AM, one in the PM), but digital test in the morning was negative. Ran out to buy more digital tests so I can torture myself over the next few days, ha! Told the lead CRNA at work so he could put me on the "no radiation" list since I seem to keep getting put in those rooms. Also showed a few girls at work and they agree that the photo is a definite positive. I feel like I can't get excited until that digital comes back positive!
12dpo, woke up in the middle of the night with VERY sore boobs, tingling. Was very hopeful the digital would be positive AND IT WAS! Is this the end of peeing on a stick? HOORAY! Some vaginal pressure/pain (very brief) and more twinges/weird sharp pains.
Made my appointment for the OB! 2/4/2016. Estimated due date is 9/18/2016
Steve left today for a duck hunting trip, and I'm just so glad I got to show him the positive digital test BEFORE he left for 4 days! He's been so overwhelmed with trips and work, but after this trip hopefully things settle down for him.
I AM SO EXCITED!!!! Trying to be cautiously hopeful but so far this is going well. No spotting, and symptoms are showing up much earlier than last time. Praying for high HCG and no progesterone issues. Off to the acupuncturist today to see what they recommend for first trimester support.
Things we did differently this cycle (not sure WHICH one worked)
- Acupuncture - went at the start of my cycle, and once again right before ovulation. Started Xiao Yao San Chinese herbs twice a day.
- Did SMEP (sex on CD8, 10, 12, 13,14,15, 17
- Guaifenisen until ovulation date
- B6 supplementation
- Preseed during fertile period
- FertilAid starting at the beginning of my cycle
