rounding out of the second trimester here in a couple weeks. feeling pretty good so far. BP still reading on the higher side of normal.
started finally feeling more baby movement around 21-22 weeks. just as i suspected, i have an anterior placenta which was the reason i was not able to feel anything for so long.
we finally had a (very late IMO) anatomy scan. confirmed a boy... and seems to be healthy as they come.
I thought i would be really set on a home-birth, but the closer we get to time the more unsure i am. mostly because of the cost factor. our insurance is pretty amazing and covers our hospital birth pretty much every penny. i would have to pay out of pocket 3-5k for a home birth and while the experience is well worth that, we just do not have it to spare. sucks. regardless i plan to have a low intervention birth again, or at least thats the plan.
any-who. baby was breech at the anatomy scan (24 weeks at the time) and i cant really tell if he has flipped yet or not. i know theres time.
trying to enjoy every min of this last pregnancy. hard to do when you also have an 8 month old crawling around lol!! i often forget im pregnant at all... its going to be fun seeing them grow up together
