An eventful 10 days

1st beta HCG 5279 on Monday 6.2.17 which was great. Normal range apparently 200-7000 for around the 5 week mark. Wednesday 8.2.17 result 7199 which was nowhere near a doubling. Pretty much 6 wks on this day. Felt really overwhelming dispair. Started thinking omg ectopic pregnancy. Helen said I could go in for an early scan the next day 10.2.17. She had spoken to Dr Thakare who said with thise beta HCG there should definitely be skmething to see on ultrasound scan. Didn't sleep well Thursday night. Felt much calmer on Friday morning (my birthday, 36yrs young ?).
Scan was fab! Helen immediatly found fetal sack in my womb and also saw heart beat straight away which is really positive for 6 wks as it's not always visible so early! She agreed my dates of 6wks and 1 day. She gave us scan pics and didn't charge us either!!
Fingers crossed all continues ok and we have a fab, relaxing holiday in Lanzarote. Still have original early scan booking for Tuesday 21.2.17 in case any issues on holiday but will probably cancel this one and maybe book for a week later. Really hope everything continues in this positive way ?
