Feeling a little better....
By Carlee » Posted Feb. 19, 2018 1:57am - 190 views - 0 comments

I got a decent night's sleep and the dad showed a rare sign of compassion/decency towards me.
I'm going to try to book my 1st appt today, preferably with the midwife who works just around the corner from me, if not at the hospital.
I really need to get this pregnancy dated cos I really am not sure if I conceived in December or accidentally in January cos the contraception failed. I did have a 48h bleed on January 14th, but that was 2 weeks after my period was due. Before that I did test 2 days after AF was due on a store-brand then 1 week after AF was due on an ic. Both were 25 miu and both were BFNs. Maybe I did get a faint positive on the ic, but I since on those things a faint positive and an evap look the same, I took it as a BFN.
So either I am 11 weeks or I am 5 weeks gone. There's quite a difference there so I'm sure I'll get an answer pretty soon!
I had more chance of conceiving in December and by comparing my symptoms to my previous pregnancies, I'd say I was 11 weeks despite the BFNs and bleeding. This is the 7th time I have conceived and for me symptoms have always started around the 10 week mark (even with my twin girls), in fact the 1st sign of pregnancy for me has always been a lack of PMS when AF is due. However only an ultrasound and/or blood test can confirm that, or perhaps a physical exam. Measuring my uterus would probably give a good idea since there's such a difference between the 2 possible dates....
*UPDATE*
Just called the midwife, she sounds absolutely lovely! She gave me an appt in 1 week, it was the earliest she could do although of course, I'm pretty impatient so it's gona be a long week for me!
