Sleepless Nights

Last night was yet another sleepless night. I feel asleep just after 1am and woke up around 5am. I feel like a train wreck. I called in sick to work today, only the second time in 2 years I've called in sick to work. I started feeling dizzy yesterday and I thought to myself ok time to take a rest. It feels good to take a day to take care of myself. I don't do it enough. I called my doctor and she said I could take some melatonin. I've done some research on it and it has mixed reviews purely because it hasn't been tested enough on pregnant women. My thoughts are if you're body is making melatonin naturally surely it can't be that bad for you. Anyways I have to tale some tonight because I need to sleep. My family is coming for Easter tomorrow and I need to function. Wish me luck finding some Z's tonight.

Comment from knicole27 » Posted Apr. 5, 2012 6:05pm I am starting to have a harder time sleeping through the night myself. My doctor had also recommended melatonin. I used it in the past and it worked ok. :) |
