Been spotting since week five. First dark brown, this last week it turned brick red. It is a daily occurrence. Every other day for the last five days or so I have been experiencing undeniably painful abdominal cramps but refused to go to the ER. I passed a long, dark red clot, it was like 3 inches long in the shape of a snake (totally weird and gross). That happened on Wednesday night. I have continued to test positive (dark positives on all HPTs) from day one of my spotting and including today. Since the "clot" (I hope that's all it was) I have not cramped at all really and the spotting seems to be getting lighter. I am stumped! My Medicaid will be available on Tuesday so I've scheduled an appointment for then. I hope everything is okay, but am prepared for the alternative.

Thank you to anyone who was keeping up with my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I had my first doctor's appointment today because my Medicaid finally came through. They did the vaginal exam, said my cervix was closed and sent me to get a vaginal ultrasound. The tech saw nothing in the uterus so she started looking in the tubes and ovaries. In my right tube, there was the egg. My abdominal cavities were filled with blood. I was scheduled to have surgery the same day at the hospital. I'm happy to report everything went well, but they did have to remove the right tube. I'm glad they located the problem and fixed it but I'm sad that this pregnancy didn't work out and that I'm now a tube short of a full set. :(
