Well we have made it to the 7 week mark and am feeling every bit as pregnant as i did at 4 weeks. The bloating is continuing and the headaches are there but the worst so far is the nausea......every minute of the day i feel sick, with a relief only coming from pickled onion flavor crisps.
Partner is being brilliant and helping loads with the housework which is wonderful. I am unsure how he feels about pregnancy yet... i can tell he is anxious and we rarely talk about the future, but that's only to be expected after miscarriages. We have a private scan booked for when we are 9 weeks and 1 day so hopefully he will feel better when he sees little one.
I have had my GP appointment and have my booking apt with midwife on the 28th May. Doc was very impressed with HCG levels and even gave me all my maternity records etc. The hospital wont scan me early as I have only had 2 miscarriages so have to wait until i am 14 weeks, hence why we booked a private scan for 9 weeks.
I am struggling at work, am feeling tired and struggling to hide the sickness and I look like i have a stone in a few weeks. Dont know how long I will be able to hide it. I feel anxious about telling work. Have only been there 5 months and dont want them to feel let down.
We have also been invited on holiday by the inlaws to Spain for a week in August. I will be 23 weeks pg so will be ok but nervous about pg and the heat.
