Don't get a Doppler

So I received my Doppler the other day and it's bugging me so bad. I'm stressed out cause I have no idea if what I think I am seeing is correct. It displays a heart rate on the LCD at the rate that would be usual for a baby (120-160) but I can't hear it! Now is it the babies heart beat or is it just the Doppler confusing other things for the heart!? I have my first midwifes appointment tomorrow so i'll probably ask her then but I know i'm going to cop a lecture from her because they don't like mothers to use their own Doppler's as heaps of mothers panic etc URGH it's driving me crazy.
On another note I had the most disturbing nightmare last night that I forgot to pick up my son from his first day at school and children's services took him from me... I woke up so upset and still feel anxious about it... waaaaah
Morning sickness pretty much is gone but came back yesterday morning as I didn't eat dinner the night before. So I need to make sure I eat something before going to sleep at night.
My husband has told me that I have started snoring really bad and I have been sleeping really heavy too so that's no good but at least he is understanding how frustrated i get when he snores all the time lol. That's about it for now, but i'll probably write tomorrow after my midwifes appointment :)

 | Comment from Layne-Shane » Posted Jun. 4, 2012 7:13am o honey dont stress ur not even 10 weeks :) u will hear it,by 11 id almost bet a weeks pay ull hear it :) ur midwife will say same thing :) also my high risk ob commends me for doing my own(although I may be anal about it and done it everyday since 11 weeks) |
