Excited but nervous...

We found out last week Friday that we're having a baby! We've been trying for 4 months, and I've taken tests early every month and they've always been negative. Since I didn't feel pregnant, I really thought this one was going to be negative as well, but it wasn't! We were so surprised!
We're both VERY excited, but we're also cautious and nervous too. I know it's still so early... I can't help but be overjoyed though! I went shopping early this week and bought an adorable little sweater and corduroy set, I just couldn't help myself! But dh made me promise not to buy any more baby stuff until we're a few more weeks along. I understand his concern. It would be so hard to have a room full of baby stuff if something were to go wrong...
Another thing that makes me nervous is that I have had basically no symptoms yet. On Mon-Tues I was incredibly bloated and I looked it up and turns out that is a symptom. So I've started eating smaller portions throughout the day and I've been back to normal since then. But now that that is taken care of, besides a little cramping now and then, I don't feel anything. I'm actually looking forward to feeling nauseous!
I have my first appointment at 8 weeks. I'm so anxious for this appointment! I'd like for some reassurance from the dr. and to hear a heartbeat! That's going to make the whole thing feel more real!

I tested on Friday as well ha ha Good luck with everything and i'll be reading your journals to see if our symptoms coincide with each other when they finally decide to really kick in lol |
