39 week check

Well yesterday I had my 39 week appt. for Evelyn and there has been some progress from the last check I received (37weeks, 1cm no effacement) this time I am 2cm and 75% effaced and the midwife could feel her head so that certainly means we're headed in the right direction! I've been having contractions on and off for weeks now and I lost my mucus plug at 37w so this has been a slow process unlike my first child. With Noah i was only a fingertip dialted at my 40w appt. and 4 days later my water broke and I had my baby:) Hoping I don't have too much longer now, my next appt. is when i'll get a non-stress test and a sono to check on the baby and i really don't want to have to get induced. So anytime you want to get here miss Evelyn Claire that would be wonderful, we're ready for you love!
