i HATE my doctor!!

had a doctors appointment to confirm my pregnancy, the doctor was very blunt and did nothing to ease my anxieties about my pregnancy, she guessed my dates, gave me a midwife who i did not get on with in my last pregnancy, on recieving my urine sample that i provided after mentioning my light spotting, she complained it wasnt dark enough despite it being darker than my previous hpts from the past two weeks, and suggested i may be having a miscarriage (which i most definitely am not!). i asked her if my bloating was normal she said no and then started a stomach examination during which she was rough and caused me to have a relatively painful stomach ache! during the stomach examination she did not perform any checks to see if my uterus was high or do anything else to put me at ease! i feel more than let down with this experience! my confirmation appointment with my first pregnancy involved a different doctor a check on uterus position and alot of reassurance that things were ok. will definitely not be having any further appointments with that doctor!

	Comment from mrsfitzy » Posted May. 30, 2012 3:14am Thats shockin i would go back the docs and ask to see someone else,or go to the hospital where you would be having your baby and get them to sort things out :)
	Comment from mercedes1991 » Posted May. 29, 2012 7:09pm hi mrsfitzy good to hear things are going well for you. still struggling because my doctor is crap and my midwife hasnt answered the phone so i am still not registered with her! i still dont have a letter about a scan date but im assuming thats because the midwife hasnt done the booking appointment yet. i am getting really stressed now because i dont have a midwife or a scan date, my symptoms are basically gone (would consider myself lucky but morning sickness etc basically make me feel pregnant) my stomachs still swollen and getting bigger its hard everywhere but i cant tell where my uterus is as of yet, pretty confusing but my stomach muscles are hard all over and because i have no midwife i dont know if im measuring ok or not! soo stressful :'(

	Comment from mercedes1991 » Posted May. 23, 2012 12:24pm aww glad all is going well for you i dont feel like i need the toilet more but when i do go then my stomach hurts like ive been holding it all day! not a water infection either, i dont feel overly pregnant at the moment, no sickness just the odd bit of nausea im still in bed early and get breathless when i walk, to be honest i just feel like i have breathing problems, apart from the bloating making me look about 6months pg instead of 6 weeks
	Comment from mrsfitzy » Posted May. 23, 2012 11:19am I'm good yeh just hungry lol days where i'm shatterd.And just today my nipples feel like their gettin poked with glass ? never had that before oh yeh i've started to feel like i have a water infection but when i do wee does'nt hurt?.Looking forward to my scan monday but really nervous too :/ x
	Comment from mercedes1991 » Posted May. 23, 2012 10:21am nothing at all! i have continued taking tests at home and just as i expected the line has carried on getting darker. im going to send in my urine sample 2moz just to prove to the doctor that i am indeed still pregnant and will ring the midwife and find out whats going on with my hospital referral for my blood test and see if they even have a date for my scan, hope your pregnancy is going well
