Went to the doctor for confirmed results

I had a very long week and weekend leading up to this day. My partner and I were very anxious to know the definite results! We went to the doctor for my annual appointment follow up visit. While at the follow up, I know they would do a pregnancy test. If not I would have request one. They had me waiting in the room for the doctor to come in and talk to me for over 30 minutes. I was getting very anxious!
I requested that the doctor tell me the result with my partner in the room. So I she FINALLY came in and almost blurted the results. She told me results from the other test, and then I allowed for them to bring my partner in.
When he walked in, he said "oh is this how it look back here" lol! He sat down, while the doctor examined my uterus with finger test. Then she said that she noticed some inflammation in my uterus, and the test result was POSITIVE!
I didn't see the expression on my partners face, but he said..."did you say positive?" with excitement :-).
We hugged. :-)
I told my sisters. He told his sister, parents, and grandparents! Everyone is excited!
We have so much to think about and discuss for the remainder of this journey.
