Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
I heard the heartbeat and saw the little heart beating at my first antenatal appointment via ultrasound. So amazing

First Ultrasound
My first proper antenatal appointment with Dr. Anaab. We saw the baby straight away, complete with heart, arms and legs! It was the most amazing thing to see, I think up until this point I couldn't fathom that there was actually a little living thing inside me, now I saw my baby it feels so real.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
Having got a dubious result on a HPT on 29th June, I woke up in the morning excited to test again! I took the test, and wait, there's something definitely there! I showed my husband, he agreed he could see something but still did not trust the test, and neither did I! When he came back from work that day we went straight to the hospital to get a blood test. 40 minutes later we are told it's positive and my hcg levels are 34.22 (11dpo).

	Comment from SmileyBambam » Posted Jul. 7, 2012 7:10pm I am doing a little better now that I found out my spotting was from my YI. But didn't like it either way. My boobs are my biggest sign of this pregnancy as they hurt like hell. Also I have started with the headaches too. I started working on my water intake cause that has been my problem in the past pregnancies. You should too if you don't already it will help with the cramping. Its nice to have a partner in crime per se.. I can't talk to my hubby about it because he's in denial until he sees the u/s and my friend whom I love isn't in the right mindset to listen to all my gripes about being pregnant. So this is nice. I don't mind the aches and pains because I know in the end there will be a beautiful baby for me to enjoy. SO worth it.. Thank you and God bless!
