I think I will bring up the 2 gestational sacs at my next appt and see if she will just at least check it out for me. One can hope right!? |

| Comment from knicole27 » Posted Mar. 3, 2012 12:14pm well crap. lol.. yeah my doctor did not say anything to me at all until after 6 and a half weeks. and the only reason why mine was even looked into is because I went into the ER with bad cramping and the dehydration. I'll be honest since I get like no u/s now till week 20 something ridiculous it does kind of make me want to "make something up" to be able to see another u/s... is that bad!?!?? lolol |

So then I returned again at 7 weeks 4 days something like that for another u/s at this point baby A was getting bigger, nice heartbeat and sac b still remained empty. At that point m doctor told me it was safe to say and diagnose me with a vanishing twin and that the second sac would be reabsorbed. Now I will tell you that I don't know if that sac was reabsorbed or not as they never once again gave me anymore u/s even to this day. I did get to listen on a doppler for heartbeat and only one was picked up here at 11 weeks 3 days. I could however possibly be still surprised. lol. When is your next u/s??? |
| Comment from knicole27 » Posted Mar. 3, 2012 11:36am I posted on you on ctp yesterday but, it could be one of two things. It could be a Subchorionic Hemorrhage, or a second gestational sac. I went into the ER at 4 weeks 6 days with cramping and dehydration. At that time they found my gestational sac and another small spot like this. They diagnosed me with the SCH *hemorrhage* and told me to go to the obgyn triage the next morning. I did so and had another u/s. This time at 5 weeks. Doctor said not much to me besides he didn't think it was a SCH but seemed to be curious about something else but didn't bother saying anything to me. Told me to come back in a week. I came back at 6 weeks 3 days for another u/s. This time they found a baby with a flickering heartbeat but then on THAT visit the doctor asks me. "Do twins run in your family?" he then showed me baby a with a beating heart in sac one and then moved to the left and showed me the second sac. At that time the second sac appeared |
