Q: Educate Before You Vaccinate

I just want to recommend new mothers educate themselves on vaccinations before choosing what is right for their child. I am a parent and i completely understand you want whats best for you baby. Im not trying to be disrespectful or pushy, i only ask you hear me out. I recently went to my pharmacy and asked for the package insert to all the routine vaccinations, and the flu shot. After going home and reading everything i was quite surprised. the ingredients are sickening,,, and side effects are worse. DTAP has SIDS and Autism listed as adverse reactions. and the Whooping Cough vaccine says people receiving the shot should stay away from babies and other at risk individuals until 6 weeks later. it will actually spread from the shot itself to your baby! I understand parents who make the choice to vaccinate, but dont do it without knowing the facts. Your baby is worth taking the time to research.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh-nkD5LSIg i didnt post this information to be called a fool or cause any arguments. i have researched the danger of vaccinations for 6 years. i simply want mothers to look into the subject. some parents choose certain vaccinations, some choose none, and some just choose to delay the schedule until their child is older. im not saying any choice is the right choice, but i suggest mothers take on vaccines with a mind full of knowledge. simply read the inserts. its in black and white. if you think the risk of your 2 month old dying of SIDS is worth getting a tetanus shot, then thats your choice, but at least have the knowledge to choose with a full understanding.

i apologize, this got way out of hand. all i meant was to challenge mothers to find out for themselves if they wanted to vaccinate and not let doctors decide for them, unless they have all the facts. which can be found very simply on the vaccination insert package. i apologize if i upset you, it was meant to be helpful, although im sure it was as frustrating to you as it has been for me. if you ever do decide to get the packages, then you will see im not a crazy person. i wish you all the best.

actaully a vaccination can NOT give you autisum and actaully if you research online you will see that, that was a big hoax! autisum is something your born with it. autisum is a chromosone issue usually meaning your born with an extra half. the flu shot is FDA approved therefore if it wasnt safe it would be IILEGAL to give out. just because the ingredients freak you out, doesnt mean you should post uneducated advice. if that freaks you out go read labels in EVERY FOOD product, house cleaningproducts, and drinks..thats what people need to be educated about.

of course eveything in this world carries some kind of risk and as for "some childeren couldnt handle it" PERFECT THAT MEANS THEY HAD A ALLERGIC REACTION in which that could happen with anything. SIDS is sudden infant death, not sudden death from sleep, or sudden death from vaccinations, SIDS is the easiest thing to research and know there are NO SPECIFIC causes and if vaccinantions played a role in it they wold A either let you know right before vaccine is given(just like the say is your baby allergic to this or that) B wouldnt give it period. you seem a little off in your world. at first what you seem to post was ok this is just untrue now you sound complelty UNTRUE and each thing you right makes you look like a fool. i thought hearing that you found your info through youtube was hillarious untill i see your really convienced SIDS is attributed to vaccines. S-SUDDEN I-INFANT D-DEATH meaning if it werre caused by vaccines it would be SIDBV (sudden infant death by vaccines.)

I respect everyone's right to their own opinions and choices regarding vaccination. As with anything, a vaccine will carry some risks. I myself have had allergic reactions to vaccines ranging from mild to somewhat severe but not life threatening, but I still get the shots (just with more supervision and follow-up afterwards) as they are required for my work. The Centers for Disease Control and Health (CDC) has a range of information on vaccinations that may also be helpful in making vaccination decisions... Here is a link: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/infants-toddlers.html
Also please remember that if you don't vaccinate, your child might not be welcome in school in a few years time.

"The studies showing no increased risk for SIDS with the DTP immunizations actually showed that fully immunized infants had a lower risk for SIDS. "-dr hunt

lol you got that from youtube. and your once again wrong autisum is once again something your boen with. i have worked with autiusm childeren, and also my sister has it. ive went to many specialist with her and ive done my reserach. we can see where you get yur resourses from...youtube. so please read more before trying to post anything rather than facts. all vaccinces given at doctor appts are all FDA approved. so the next time your childeren get sick and need to go to the ER and the only thing to save them is medicince read into those labels and chose not to give it to them because you live in a world of your own thinking you know everything. leave the facts to the doctors. k thanks :)

this makes me sad. all you have to do is get your local pharm to print off some fact sheets straight from the manufacturers box. that way its not a unreliable internet source that anyone can write up. the only reason you can say im lying is because you wont do the research. its very easy and the most reliable source. most parents i know that dont vaccinate is because they said "humm...i think ill read the contents of that box before you inject my child, thanks" i respect your decision, and all i wanted was for some mothers to educate themselves on the risk, because most mothers are told there is NO risk. my doctor tried to argue with me saying the only risk was a sore spot from the needle, and what if my child got whooping cough?!
she was surprised to see i had the papers in hand defending my choice, (vaccine package insert) and after she skimmed through them (i had highlighted points) she had nothing more to say but "i apologize, and i respect your decision."

I simply suggested women read the insert. i said i was respectful of other peoples choices and opinions and i dont believe there is a right or wrong choice....again i encourage mothers to read and decide for themselves. it is a very simple and unbiased way to think about it. the manufactured company put the warnings/ingredients inside the package, so its not some bogus off youtube. you dont need to be angry or threatened. im not giving bad advice or scaring people. do you read the package when giving your toddler Tylonal? or any other medication? i would hope so. its no different. if you choose not to thats fine, i was only suggesting to hopefully help parents stay informed and not in the dark about important decisions. happy and healthy pregnancy to everyone. im sorry if i struck a nerve. only a suggestion and i respect your decision not to read the package of your childs needles.
