Q: has any body tested positive for the 2nd trimester downs screening at 20 weeks?

I had a blood test done at 20 weeks and it has come back as high risk for carrying downs syndrome. Ultra sound scan showed no abnormalities.... anyone had this?

I refused to have this test for fear of false positive which I read was very common. If there was no visiable signs on the ultrasound scan then I would try not to worry. And all you have to think is, has it changed your mind about wanting the baby?If not then does it matter? I wouldn't worry and just enjoy your pregnancy. Good Luck x

I am 36 years old and this is our 3rd baby. Never had this with the other 2!
