Q: How many weeks were you when you went into labor/gave birth to your first baby? (without induction!)

I am nearly 30 weeks now with my first and the reality is setting in that I'm going to meet my baby not too long from now! Just curious when you ladies went into labor naturally with your first & how long after that until you gave birth. I know it is said that women more often then not go over their due date with their first baby...trying to gather my own information to see whether or not that is really true!

I was exactly 38 weeks when I went into labour with my first. It took 12 hours of labour until she was born!

I was 42 weeks minus one day! And they only let you go to 42 weeks before inducing so I was shocked that I went into labor on my own only a few hours before they were going to induce me. So yes, most women go over but not usually by that much so don't worry.
