Q: hcg down then up?

6.4 weeks = hcg 966
6.6 weeks = hcg 952
7.6 weeks = hcg 3,282

the 6.4 week test also had an u/s with no sac, baby or anything.
at 6.6 weeks i began spotting, dark brown
at 7.4 weeks I began having lower back pain
at 7.5 weeks I had lower back pain that shot up to my neck and shoulder, also a spot of red blood
at 7.6 weeks (today) neck and shoulder pain is gone, but having lower back pain and some cramping, and back to dark brown

Doc is worried about ectopic pregnancy (I have had 3 m/c but never ectopic at 11, 8, and 6wks)

I go in tomorrow for u/s....I cannot deal with this stress. Weird thing is that I had a feeling my numbers would go up, but I was not sure if it was wishful thinking or a true gut feeling. Gut feeling.

We shall see if the other part of my "feeling" comes true ... that baby is ok.
That would be a miracle.

My doc told me that it was a good thing that I went in for my D&C. There was still alot of tissue that didn't look like it was going to come out anytime soon. I am still having a few aches and pains in my abdomen, and I head back to work tomorrow. I am sad. We are done trying to have anymore children. We know it is for the best, but still makes me sad.
thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers

I go in for my D&C tomorrow morning. I have been bleeding and cramping alot for the past 2 days, so I dont know how much the Doctor will actually have to clean out or test, but I am going anyway.

Big hugs. I'm thinking of you.

Our dates were pretty much the same, so I'd have been about as far along as you were supposed to be. Sucks big time. I'm still bleeding from my ectopic, so I understand entirely where you are. *hugs*

Could it be that you ovulated later than you thought you did. Based on my LMP I should be almost 13 weeks, but I am almost 11. I ovulated later than I thought. When I went in at 5 weeks 6 days, I could only see a y/s and a g/s. I agree that you should have another u/s before the D/C just to be sure.

I'm so sorry. My daughter is 6 too, we've been trying since she was a baby for a second. I've only managed to get pregnant once with IUI, and it was ectopic. I feel for you.

I'd ask them to do one last ultrasound on Tuesday before the D&C, just to be absolutely sure it's not viable. Good Luck with everything. Sending you thoughts and hugs.

There it's a sac in the uterus. Not ectopic, but the sac is measuring at 5 wk 3 days, no baby. I am positive about my dates too, so I should be 8wks today based on my lmp. I go for my D&C on Tuesday, because my ovary has gotten bigger with a cyst. I only have 1 ovary, so I cannot wait this out for fear of doing damage to the ovary...rupturing, etc.

Thanks for your thoughts. We are done ttc. we have 1 son who is 6yr old and 4 m/c.

I just went through an ectopic with surgery. I sure hope your little baby is in the right spot.
