Q: Looking for constipation relief!

Ok, this might be a touchy subject. Or maybe not! I'm almost 7wks and have had serious issues with constipation since the beginning. I can't go, and when I do it's painful and not really much of a relief!

What foods/liquids/etc do you ladies recommend for some relief?

Prune juice.
Lots of fiber and water!
High fiber foods: raspberries, apples, bananas, spaghetti, oatmeal, bran, split peas, BEANS, peas, artichoke, broccoli.

Basically just eat real helth, drink lots of water and it should...move along haha.

Also EXERCISE! Make sure you get up and do a brisk walk for like 35 mins twice a day.

bananas always worked for me, first thing in morning, or before you eat actual food, also you can use Metamucil powder drink, i put mine in OJ, try and stay away from dairy for a bit, that always made mine worse, try and eat raisin bran, muffins, foods with high fibers pretty much, beans and rices, and veggies! also DRINK LOTS WATER, if you aren't into water, throw a slice of lemon in it or something, i haven't had constipation at all this pregnancy but i learned after my 2nd! normally it is cuz there is not enough liquids in the diet, i tried tea and a little coffee cuz i dont like water 24/7. but i drink about a 24 pack of water a week now...it really helps and walking also GOOD LUCK
