Q: Just felt like showing some appreciation for OHs!

Hey ladies,

I've currently got a lot of friends who are pregnant, and they spend a lot of time complaining about their OHs, and the fact that they don't have to go through the hell of pregnancy. So I just wanted to say that I know it's really hard for us all, but I think it's pretty hard for our partners as well. Ok, they don't have to throw up, get heartburn, stretch marks or all the other pregnancy nasties - but since my MS has started, my OH has been doing all the washing up, laundry, cleaning, making me whatever food I want whenever I want it, stroking my hair, singing to me when I feel sick...and he never complains. I get calls every day from family and friends asking how I'm feeling and coping, but nobody fusses over him and how exhausting it must be having a pregnant girlfriend.

I just know that, however hard pregnancy can be on me, there's no way I'd manage without him and his support - so I'll forgive him for still being able to do the things I can't! :)

Yep.. I appreciated mine in every way posible. He's a trooper from holding my hair while I was face down in the toilet to making sure that all my needs are being met even now (DS is a month old).

Agreed! My husband and I have a 2 year old daughter also, and he does so much with her to give me breaks! He's so supportive and always helpful. We are in the middle of moving right now, and he has done pretty much everything! I love him to the moon and back!!

Good for you! My hubby's been great too and considering nausea has long since kicked my mojo out the window, he's been a great sport!
