He is a dick.
Make you feel better? But in all honesty, I was a size 16US right before I found out I was pregnant. I lost 60 pounds before getting pregnant, and I too have that fluff around the waist. You can't help it. It will tone up later. And you are JUST FINE the size you are.
Don't let the TECH tell you that you are too big. If your doctor said it, take that info in to consideration, but if you feel fine, then that is all you really need.
And if the baby is healthy, and moving and groovin, I think you are just fine and dandy. And just between us, you know your man loves your curves. :3

I would defiantly file a complaint! That's rude and very unprofessional. I didn't like my sonographer either, she was cold and kind of rude to me,probably because I am a young mom to be, but she made the experience less enjoyable....I wish i could have filed a complaint but she technically did nothing wrong. No one should have to deal with that kinda stuff and be brought down during such an amazing time in their lives!

I would file a complaint. That was completely unnecessary. Ive never been a skinny mini either and have been a size 16 (US) for about 3 years.

I'm plus size and have had plenty of ultrasounds (being high risk) and no one mentioned that to me (and I read all the comments too). I would have been upset too. If he said it was due to baby's movement, that's the comment he should have entered. I would request a different tech next time (if you have the option to do so) and would file a complaint. That's not appropriate at all. Pregnancy is already a sensitive time for a women and to make you feel like that is not right:-(

I am so sorry you had to go through that. I am a plus size Mom, and if that happened to me I would bring it to someone's attention. Completely uncalled for.
