Q: bv causing contractions?

so after countless contractions and a positive swab for bacterial vaginosis they send me home with a prescription for antibiotics . Any one have this happen, by ultrasound i am 31 weeks ... so scared,i took one pill b4 bed and one just now,i do feel btr and dnt feel"cramping" as much but do u think i was brushed off to lightly?

No, bacterial infections can definitely cause cramping/contractions, its one reason UTIs are dangerous. The antibiotics are the right start. Give them a day or two to work completely, make sure you take all of them, but if the symptoms start to come back (either before or after you finish the course) or don't completely go away after a couple days call your doc again, you may have a resistant strain, or there could be another underlying problem.
