I had 32% Placental Abruption. This was diagnosed at 10 weeks gestation. I had some very light spotting around 6 weeks that concerned me. When I had an u/s to check on things, the doctor claimed my baby never developed (was a blighted ovum) and to sit and wait to miscarry. Couple weeks later, I went back and there was my little baby, alive and well! However, they noticed some blood flow between the placenta and uterine wall. Initially they gave me a diagnosis of placenta accreta (which was almost impossible given I had never had a c-section). The next week it was decided I had placenta abruption. I was on strict bedrest and went on to deliver a healthy baby at 37 weeks. I had some major hemorraging during/after delivery which caused me to need a transfusion and almost required a full hysterectomy (bleeding wouldn't stop). Eventually the bleeding stopped and I recovered great!
Sorry for the long response. In short, I had no real symptoms. Check checked, though!
