Q: For those who have experienced bleeding during pregnancy and had a successful pregnancy..

I am just curious ... Did you have dark brown blood or was it ever red? It's a bit easier to understand this type of thing when you know others who've experienced it and how things worked out for them...

I had bright red spotting at 11 weeks. I went to the doctor and it was an infection. I was given a course of antibiotics and that solved it. I'mm 33 weeks pregnant now and all is going well.

If you are worried, go to your doctor. That's what they are there for.

I had bleeding at 7.5 weeks, dark brown, pretty heavy. Turns out I had a subchorionic hematoma. I had gone to ER right away and they did U/S and pelvic exam. Hematoma went away in about a week, although they said it could take longer. At 14 weeks now and everything is still perfect.

I had some bleeding for a little over a week around week 6 or 7. I am now 23.2 weeks and the baby is doing just fine. Go to the doc. and check it out to help ease your mind a little. I know it is so scary and there is sometimes nothing anyone can say or do to make the anxiety go away. I ended up having a subchorionic hemorrhage at week 12 and it was still there at week 20. I have not had any spotting with the hemorrhage except for that week long spotting back at week 6.

The only time I experienced bleeding during pregnancy I lost the pregnancy. It happened twice and very early on. The blood was just like a period. I am not saying that is what is happening with you, but that was my experience. You should go to the Doctor if you are bleeding Hon.

I had red blood in with my cm at 7 weeks, went to the ER and they found a subchorionic hemhorrage. It sounds scary and can turn into something very serious but mine went away within a week. I still had brown cm until week 13 I believe. I'm not saying this is your case, but things CAN turn out okay.

I just answered another question about this. I had brown blood in week 4. It looked like the spotting before AF, which is why I was positive that I wasn't pregnant or that it would be a chemical. Had a successful heartbeat week 7. In Week 7, I bled reddish/pink blood after sex. The next day spotted brown. Everything is still fine. Going in for another checkup on Friday - week 10. Good luck and FX for you!!!
