I've tried the nimble diagnostics test. It was fast (a few days I think) and accurate for me. I did it at 7 weeks which is much earlier than an ultrasound so I recommend you go for it if you're like me and can't wait!! :)

I used the Nimble Diagnostics prenatal gender DNA test last year after being recommended by colleague of mine. It was quick and correct for both of us, so we were very happy!

We got our results back after 4 days (2 of which were the weekend), and it's a girl. Money back guarantee! ;) Will not know how accurate, I guess, until May!

My doctor is performing this test for me in 2 weeks. It is more accurate than a sonogram, if not more expensive. But, I'm in South Africa, so the cost is still only around $100 US that insurance will pay for. My doctor seemed to indicate that all doctors have the capabilities, but don't offer it to the patients because they worry about selective abortion early on and because of the cost.

I was under the impression you could only order it online. It sounds marvellous....if expensive. But it would be so nice to know around wk 9 or 10 (7wks from conception) Been googling it this afternoon.

I heard it is a blood test that is fairly new and they search for DNA in the mother's blood. If there is a Y chromosome in the mother's blood, it's a boy. If there is no Y, then it's a girl.

I'm not sure if you have to pay more for it or not, that's my big question.
