Q: break outs

ok i always get breakouts before my period comes..well i am 7 days late i got a positive pregnancy test and i have two pimples on my chin and i am freaking out because i want to be pregnant.me and my DH have been trying for 5 months now..should i worry?

I broke out like crazy from weeks 4-7 so don't worry, I think that's totally normal. Consider those pimples as a welcome to the craziness of hormones! Just be careful with how you treat the break out because many acne treatments (especially anything taken orally) are a no-no during pregnancy.

I break out before my period as well but with BOTH pregnancies, I always break out in early pregnancy as well! Its nothing to worry about, if anything it is a great sign! Congrats!

increased progesterone can cause breakouts in early pregnancy - you may need to get used to them! Congrats!

I wouldn't worry about them, I broke out pretty bad the entire first trimester. I not only broke out on my face but also on my neck and back. It's those darn hormones going crazy. Good luck!
