I dont think so, but could be sciatica? There isnt anything you can do for that but i would call the midwife or EPU just to ask them if its really bad. Sure its nothing to worry about though especially if you arent bleeding or having serious tummy pain? I would say its the baby sitting on a nerve but im not a doctor so if it were me i would call just for reassurance. Ive had a lot of aches pains this time around but think its cos this is my 3rd baby and things have been stretched before... you feel it more than the first time around. I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old lol. remember with your first you could relax more, sleep when you want etc... x

They just checked me over, did a urine sample and a swab and a scan. Everything was fine! Is this your first pregnancy? If so then pains can be stretching of your uterus where the baby is growing or the baby could be laying on a nerve or a sciatic nerve which is very uncomfortable, i had it with my first (its usually down one side back, butt cheek and leg) or you could have a UTI which they will give you antibiotics for. x

Hi hun, i hope you are feeling better? I had belly ache, back ache, headaches and a heavy feeling in the first 10 - 12 weeks. Call the EPU at your local hospital if you are worried as they might get you in for an early scan as they did with me, the local midwives wont really do anything. I know that its safe to take paracetamol but to be honest it prob wont help. Just put your feet up and drink plenty. Let me know how you get on x
