We've been listening to my babys heartbeat since 10 weeks :) I'm 19 weeks now. It may also depend on your body size, it can be harder to hear if your built bigger and that freaks some ladies out

I asked at 16 weeks and mw refused until after 20 weeks as apparently you have to go between the shoulder blades to hear the hb which is tricky to do. Not sure how true that is as I can find it myself from ten weeks. Anyway, hopefully your mw Will be willing to try :)

hi hun i went to my midwife app at 16weeks and she said they don't check until after 20weeks now, but i asked her if she would try but told me they wouldn't do anything if they couldn't find it as it's quite hard. But she found it straight away and looked a little shocked as it sounded around the room! Amazing moment :) i think if you ask they may try for you. They used to check when i was pregnant with my girls but things change constantly and vary from area to area fingers crossed for you.xx
