Q: Constant weight gain, then weight loss around 19 - 20 weeks...

i've gained weight pretty consistently since week 9, every week totally about a 1b higher than the week before. However at 18 weeks I measured in at 131.6. Then 19 weeks I went down to 131. Now, 1 day before 20 weeks I've weighed 130.6. I weigh almost every day, and these weights for these 3 weeks were pretty consistent on a daily basis, not a random off day. Any ideas why the sudden slight loss/no longer gaining weight? What should I do to help this go back up?

Hey Allie,

I didn't gain any weight until this last visit. Before this last visit I was worried about not gaining and my doctor said don't worry because your baby is growing the way it should. If the baby is not growing properly then there is an issue.

I feel that as long as your are eating, drinking and bathroom habits are all normal then a few pounds loss isnt a big deal at all.
