9 dpo isn't crazy early. Lots of ladies get a super faint line at 9dpo and are pregnant with a singleton. It sucks to have to wait but you wont know for sure until the u/s. Sometimes but certainly not always, if you have a very high HCG level at your second beta it does suggest twins but it's not always the case. You'll know soon enough!

I had a bfp on 9dpo with my son, only one baby. Twins come from mother's side of the family, more specifically: Identical twins does not run in families, it's by chance that the egg devide in 2. Non identical twins come from mother's mother and happens when you release 2 eggs at ovulation. This can be inherited from your mother. You can read more on google :-) Good luck!!!

I got a positive pregnancy test with my son at 9 DPO, but no he wasnt a twin.
