Q: Is it twins?

There's two circles on the scan at 5+5 weeks the technician never said if there was one or two in the just said sac and yolk in correct place then moved down to ovary area to check where pain was coming from

There might be two yolk sacs, but there is only one amniotic sac.

From the main pic in your profile I only see one sac for sure. Not sure if that is the pic you are referring to though. Have you checked out twin ultrasounds on the net just to get a better perspective? I know that when I had my very first scan ever my heart sank because I thought the baby's placenta was another baby lol. I think the technician read it on my face cause she was quick to point out what was what. You will know in a few days when your doctor can give you the results:)

Thanks the circles are opposite side of sac have a scan next Friday 26th so will know more then x

Well I had the same question when I had my scan at 7 weeks. did have a look at your pic and I cant really tell the doc said on my ultra sound that it is most likely something to do with the placenta and afterbirth as i had 3 circles on my pic. maybe it is the same with you. I am waiting for my 12 week scan just to make sure.

It does look like two. I went for my first scan last week (vaginal scan). I was 8 weeks along. There were two sacs but only one baby. The other sac was empty. They call it a vanishing twin. Apparently quite common. Not sure if that's the same in your case.
