Q: Clever ideas to reveal gender to out-of-state parents?

Both my parents and my husband's parents live out of state. Our gender ultrasound is next Tuesday. We would like a more clever idea to let them what the gender is other than just a phone call. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

One idea would be to send them a box, half blue and half pink. You could put a onsie with the color relating to the gender that has a cute lil saying like "number 1 grandparents" or " its a girl/boy"

My parents also live out of state. I have also thought alot about this, I think that I amgoing to send them a balloon in a box to reveal what the sex is when we find out in July. I also plan on cutting up paper shaped as baby clothes, in the color of the sex. Just an idea.

I sent my parents pink and blue flowers with "It's a Boy" and "It's a Girl" balloons. The card in flowers had the gender.

My parents are all the way across the country so we're going to have a gender reveal bbq (low key, with a cake) and facetime them for the cake cutting or skype so we can record it.

My girlfriend's parents live in Hawaii and she is here in Ohio...not fair I know, lol! But she sent them pics via her cell. She took a picture of a cupcake she made. It had white icing and said, "Boy or girl?" on top. Then she took the wrapper off and took a pic and sent that. Then she took a pic of her starting to slice into the cupcake, building the anticipation. The last pic showed a little slice out of the cupcake and revealed pink icing on the inside. :) They loved it! Her mom even uploaded them to Shutterfly or Snapfish or one of those and made a collage out of the pictures!
Another friend made her parents wait a few days and mailed them a copy of the gender picture in a frame and stuffed the box with crinkle paper shreds that were pink so when they opened the box they knew right away! Hope those help!!! :)

It's simple but my friend wore all blue, right down to her blue eye shadow when she revealed she was having a boy. We didn't get it right away which was good, so it wasn't too easy but when she kept batting her eyes we figured it out and screamed for joy. It was a cute little thing to do
