Q: reducing hours talk, not sure how to do it?

Here's the situation-I work part time from home doing event planning for family events, and fundraising (its a non profit).
The fundraising part is realy stressing me out. This plus my nausea, migraines and vomiting etc... I really want to trim out the stress in my life if at all possible.
The position used to just be event planning, but fundraising was added when I was hired. I want to tell my boss i'll do the Feb fundraiser but I don't want to do the June one. I am hoping to just do the event planning part starting in march, and cut my hours just a bit.
How do I tell her I'm pregnant, and need some help (cutting down the fundraising part) without getting fired completely? I know she will replace me eventually (i want to stop working in Aug when baby is due) anyway. If she starts trying to replace me in March that would be okay, i think it would take her 2 months. If i can work until April/may/ or even June, I'd be happy.
How should I approach this conversation...?

Just be honest with her. Make sure you have her full attention and tell her about this blessing in your life. She CANNOT fire you for being pregnant. You have to do what is best for you and for your baby. Also, have you asked your doc for anti-nausea meds? I work in assisted living and simply did not have the time to run to the bathroom every time I thought I was going to get sick. I got Zofran Disintegrating Tablets from my doc and they work in seconds! Maybe trying that will help you feel you can accomplish more. But...depending upon how far along you are, you should tell your boss sooner rather than later. She will appreciate a heads up on your leaving in August. good luck!
